2.12 μm laser pumped by Zig-Zag slab

  • 摘要: 为了实现窄脉宽、高峰值功率2.12 m激光的稳定输出,设计了基于侧面泵浦Zig-Zag 板条产生1.06 m基频光,进而泵浦KTP晶体通过II类相位匹配产生2.12 m激光的光参量振荡实验。对外腔及内腔进行了实验研究,分别获得了1.53%和2.86%的电光转换效率。在20 Hz频率下内腔2.12 m输出能量达到70 mJ以上,脉宽7 ns~9 ns。其中内腔实验中能量输出稳定度接近8%。

     

    Abstract: In order to obtain narrow pulse width and high peak power laser output steadily in 2.12 m, the experiments of optical parametric oscillator (OPO) were devised, which were based on the fundamental beam of 1.06 m produced by side-pumping Nd∶YAG Zig-Zag slab, furthermore, the 1.06 m beam pumped KTP crystals by type II phase matching technology for producing 2.12 m. External OPO and intra-cavity OPO experiments were researched with the electricaloptical conversion efficiency at 1.53%, 2.86% respectively. At the frequency of 20 Hz, the energy of the 2.12 m laser output surpassed 70 mJ in intra-cavity OPO experiment while the pulse width and stabilization of energy were at 7 ns~9 ns, 8% approximately.
