A dynamic strain sensor with fiber Bragg gratings

  • 摘要: 测量信号的波长解调是光纤光栅传感器研制的关键技术环节之一,尤其是对于动态波长变化的解调,一般采用干涉法检测信号波长,系统复杂而且稳定性较差。采用边沿滤波的方式,利用长周期光纤光栅作为线性边沿滤波器,对传感光纤布喇格光栅进行波长解调,研制了一种动态应变传感器,测量系统具有结构简单、测量重复性好的优点。使用该传感器可对动态应变信号实时无失真测量,测量灵敏度达到3nε/Hz,测量动态范围为DC~5000με。简要分析了光纤光栅传感探头的设计方法及它同被测物体的粘贴方法,并利用压电陶瓷微位移器检验了该传感器的频率响应特性。

     

    Abstract: The wavelength demodulation of the measurement signal is one of the key technologies for fiber Bragg grating sensors, especially for the dynamic signal measurement. A Bragg grating dynamic strain sensor taking a long period grating as the linear edgedfilter for demodulating the wavelength signal was developed. The meaasurement system has the advantages of simple structure and good measuring repeatability, and can carry out reltime distortionless measurement, whose dynamic strain range is 0~5000με and the strain resolution reaches 3nε/Hz. The design method of the prob of the fiber grating sensor and the method for gluing the fiber Bragg grating with the strain field are analyzed.The dynamic characteristics of the strain sensor are tested with a PZT.
