Light source validity evaluation in CCD vertical target measurement system based on image analysis

  • 摘要: 针对CCD立靶在室外自然环境下和配有主动光源的工程应用,提出一种基于背景图像分析的光源适用性判定方法。在图像采集与实际测试状态一致的条件下,采集无目标背景图像,通过数字图像处理,确定采集视场内各个位置处图像的灰度变化范围f及灰度均值fmean,若背景图像中各个像元的fmean2f,即认为CCD立靶可以对目标图像进行可靠识别。实验室及外场CCD立靶应用实验结果验证了该判据的有效性和可靠性。
    Abstract: In view of the CCD vertical target application in outdoor natural environment and with active light source, a method to evaluate the validity of light source based on background image analysis was presented. On the condition same with pratical measurement, certain line background images without object were captured to determine the gray scale range f and gray mean value fmean of each pixel in these line background images. To each pixel, if the value of fmean was always bigger than two times of f, the object could be recognized after image analysis. The effectiveness and reliability of the criterion were all demonstrated by CCD vertical target application experiments in laboratory with active light and outdoors with natural light.
